Northwestern graduate Sarah Supplee was recently named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.
Supplee, a sophomore at West Chester University, recently received the award after turning in a stellar effort at Millersville on Saturday.
The former Tiger won the 3K Steeplechase with a time of 10:58.71, which served as a PSAC and NCAA Qualifying time while also setting a new personal best. It was also the second fastest time in program history.
Earlier this season, Supplee won the 5K during a home squad meet. She posted a time of 17:42.04, which also served as a PSAC Qualifying mark and set a new personal best by over a full minute while also going down as the eighth-best time in program history.
West Chester returns to action this Saturday afternoon at home in the Golden Ram Invitational.
