– Marian’s Matt Leitzel goes the distance on the mound, striking out 10, walking just one and allowing just three hits as the Colts defeat Jim Thorpe by a 4-1 tally. Tony Radocha’s two-run single plates Joe Ott, who had tripled, and Tom Teprovich, who reached on a walk, as Marian jumps out to an early 2-0 lead. The Colts add another run in the fifth when Kevin Kane doubles and scores on a sacrifice fly by Leitzel. The latter adds the Colts’ final run in the seventh on a double steal.
