Harrison M. Henritzy, Weatherly, has been named to receive the 21st annual award of the Greater Hazleton Veterans Association.

Henritzy, assistant editor of the Hazleton Standard Speaker, will be honored as the person who did the most for veterans in 1966.

The incumbent commander of the Weatherly American Legion Post, he previously served in that capacity for two years, is a past commander of the Jim Thorpe Legion; served as a 30th District commander; and served on the PA Legion’s publicity committee for several years. In addition, he has served as commander of the Weatherly VFW and District 20 VFW and as chef de gare of the Carbon 40 et 8.
