Lehighton’s Megan Aaron will continue her academic and athletic careers at Misericordia University.
Aaron is a four-year member of the Indians track and field team, and will continue to participate in the sport as a member of the Cougars squad.
The senior competes in the long and triple jumps. She has been named a team MVP, and has also earned league and district medals.
At Lehighton, she also competed on the volleyball team, where she was a captain. Some of her other school activities include president of Student Council, treasurer of National Honors Society, as well as a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Choir, County Choir and Show Choir. She is also in the top 10% of the class.
The daughter of Bob and Mary Aaron, Megan plans to earn a 5-year Master’s degree in speech language pathology.
