Daffodils are being sold throughout the week at area locations to benefit the Cancer Telethon. The telethon is being broadcast April 9 and 10 from Penn’s Peak.

Daffodils are $10 for a bunch, $12 for a pot, and $15 with a vase.

They are available through Friday at the following locations:

• Telethon Volunteer Office, 33 W. Ridge St., Lansford, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Hiles Bros., 160 E. North St., Summit Hill, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Family Dollar, 700 E. Patterson St., Lansford, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Donna Valent Income Tax, 302 E. Patterson St., Lansford, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Kotch Notary Services, 226 Center St., Tamaqua, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
