Palmerton and Jim Thorpe both dropped season-opening tennis matches.
The Blue Bombers were blanked by Bangor on Monday, while the Olympians were defeated by Palisades last Friday.

With the win, the Slaters improved to 5-0, while the Bombers dropped to 0-1.
