CCTI students meet the Carbon commissioners

CCTI police officer Frank DeMatto spoke about the students’ attendance at a February meeting of the Carbon County Commissioners. DeMatto introduced student Autumn Benedict, a senior from Palmerton, who spoke about the meeting.

“I’m in the health medical program,” Benedict said. “The students got to go to the commissioners’ meeting and told the commissioners a little bit about what we do in the school and all the great opportunities that come from being in this school. Every person talked a little bit different depending on what program they are in. I talked about my hands-on experiences in nursing and all great things I’ve learned so far.”
