Kutztown University inducted 54 students into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at the induction ceremony held Feb. 22. Phi Kappa Phi is an honor society established in 1897 to recognize and encourage superior scholarship without restriction as to area of study.

Local students include:

• Detrick M. Borden of Tamaqua.

• Madison Ann Frye of Tamaqua.

• Caitlin Patricia Holt of Albrightsville.

They are among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year.
