17th Girardville St. Patrick’s Parade set for March 26

The Girardville Parade Committee announces that the 17th Annual Girardville St. Patrick’s Parade starts at noon on March 26.

The giant parade will feature five divisions and at least 16 bands with numerous additional floats, antique vehicles, and special entries.

Participants including vendors, floats, and organizations can still register for the 2022 parade at the new parade website: Girardvilleparade.com.

The theme of this year’s parade is the “Salute to our Veterans.”

The grand marshals for the 2022 Parade include Reverend Lieutenant Colonel Edward Coyle, National Chaplain of the Catholic War Veterans, Senior Master Sergeant Raymond Wayne, and Captain Edward Clark, all members of the AOH and natives of Girardville.

Official 2022 Parade T-shirts have been reordered and may still be purchased online at Girardvilleparade.com or by stopping by the Hibernian House on Thursday evenings. An outdoor celebration will follow the parade at the Hibernian House at Beech and Line Streets in the borough.

For more parade information, please contact Joseph Wayne at 570-590-1826 or Joanne Kitsock at 570-617-0400.
