The Kidder Township Police were called to Split Rock Resort for the drowning of a 9-year-old girl in the resort pool. Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller said the girl was from New York state. He said an autopsy was scheduled for this morning. The girl was taken to St Luke’s Hospital Carbon Campus by Lake Harmony EMS, but was not able to be revived.This incident is still under investigation by the Kidder Township Police Department.
