Faith Alive Church
Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin Jr. At 8:30 a.m. is the contemporary service followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. and traditional service at 11 a.m. You can worship in person in the sanctuary or Leah’s Room or in the parking lot by turning the radio to 104.3 FM or Facebook live.

March 20 at 8:30 or 11 a.m.: Topic 1, “What in the Whole World is God Doing With: Modern Israel?”
March 20 at 7 p.m.: Topic 2, “What in the Whole World is God Doing With: The Whole World?”
March 21 at 7 p.m.: Topic 3, “What in the Whole World is God Doing With: The Nations of the World?”
March 22 at 7 p.m.: Topic 4, “What in the Whole World is God Doing With: The Remnant of Israel”?
Bible study called “Torn” is March 15, 22, 29 and April 5 at 6:30 p.m. for both men and women.
March 15, 22, 29 and April 5 at 11:30 a.m. is lunch group Bible study.
Community Lent service is at 7 p.m. each Wednesday. March 16 at Zions UCC in Lehighton, March 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bowmanstown, March 30 at Faith Alive, April 6 at Dinkey Memorial in Ashfield, and April 13 at Emmanuel UCC in Bowmanstown.
March 16, 23 and 30 at 10 a.m. is Silver Sisters Exercise Class.
March 13, 20 and 27 at 6 p.m. the Youth Group meets.
March 24 at 2 p.m. is Adult Bible Study.

Third Monday Book Club
The Third Monday Book Club will meet at the Palmerton Area Library on Monday, March 21 from 12:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March’s book is “The Hair of Harold Roux” by Thomas Williams.
The group meets each month and new members are always welcome.

Library basket raffle
Stop in the Palmerton Area Library to check out the Bunny Basket Raffle starting March 14. April lottery calendars are also on sale at the front desk. Proceeds benefit the library.
Holy Trinity Lutheran Lenten service
For the week of March 16, Lenten service will be held at St. Matthew’s at 7 p.m.
Easter filling sale
Jerusalem UCC, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville, will be holding an Easter filling sale. This is the same filling which is sold at the Palmerton Community Festival. Must order by March 26. Call the church office at 610-681-4412 or Beverly at 610-377-5811 for cost and to order.
Pickup will be April 9 from noon to 4 p.m. of April 10 following worship, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
Spring basket social
Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trachsville, will hold their annual spring basket social on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be theme baskets with three baskets having $25 hidden among the contents. They will also have a raffle and baked goods sale.
Food will be available for purchase including barbecue, homemade soups, chowchow, etc.
Holy Trinity Thrift Shop
The Holy Trinity Thrift Shop at 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, is open every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They have a selection of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing. They also have housewares, books and much more.
Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous is an open meeting held every Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 N. Third St., Palmerton.
If you or anyone you know is struggling with drug addiction, please come by. This is a great resource for help.
Movie Madness Marathon
Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 N. Third St., Palmerton, is calling all movie fans! Join together for a Movie Madness Marathon on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. Fun, food and fellowship for the family all day long.
Donations will be accepted toward the popcorn, snacks, lunch and dinner. Showtimes are at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
