State police at Stroudsburg reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 9:34 a.m. on Feb. 25 along Interstate 80 in Stroudsburg.

Troopers said Shane M. Santiago, 18, of Tobyhanna, was driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue eastbound too fast for slushy road conditions, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Santiago attempted to regain control as he negotiated a right curve. The vehicle traveled across the right lane and struck a concrete barrier off the right side of the road.

Santiago sustained a suspected minor head injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg. The vehicle had to be towed.

He was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
