The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week. Road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Lehigh County

• Upper Macungie, City of Allentown and South Whitehall Townships: Route 22 construction between Interstate 78 and 15th Street, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

• Whitehall Township, Route 22 milling and paving between 15th Street and Route 145/MacArthur Road, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

• Upper Macungie Township, I-78 highway beautification between Berks County Line and Exit 49 (Route 100), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Upper Macungie Township, I-78 highway beautification between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Northampton County Line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Upper Saucon Township, Spring Valley Road bridge repair between Old Bethlehem Pike and Washington Lane, all day closed and detoured utilizing Old Bethlehem Pike, Landis Mill Road, Weyhill Drive, Station Avenue, and Spring Valley Road beginning March 10 and lasting until April 7.

Monroe County

• Multiple municipalities: Route 33 North pothole patching between Northampton County Line and Saylorsburg Exit, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.

• Hamilton Township: I-80 East pothole patching between Exit 299 and Exit 302, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

• Multiple municipalities: Route 33 North pothole patching between Saylorsburg Exit and Lehighton Exit, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Multiple municipalities: I-80 litter removal between New Jersey State Line and Exit 302 (Route 33 to Route 209), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Hamilton Township: Route 33 South bridge repair between Route 209 and Bossardsville Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

• Hamilton Township, Route 209 North bridge repair between Hickory Valley Road and Route 33, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.

• Tobyhanna Township, I-80 pothole patching between Luzerne County Line and Exit 284, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

• Tobyhanna Township, I-80 Ramps at Exit 284 lane restriction and pothole patching from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Friday.

Northampton County

• Various townships: Route 22 road work between New Jersey State Line and Lehigh County line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday.
