Panther Valley PTO is hosting the Volley for a Cure event Sunday.

This year, the money raised will be donated to the cancer society in honor of Lisa Trubilla. She is a huge advocate not only for Panther Valley students and athletes but Tamaqua’s as well.

The event starts at 1 p.m. There will also be an opportunity for you to make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one and the students of the winning team will read them at the cancer telethon.
