The former Presbyterian Church building on West Broadway in Jim Thorpe will soon be the scene of a Day Care Center, stressing Early Child Development, under a proposal prepared by the Economic Development Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania in conjunction with the Carbon County Action Committee for Human Services.
The first floor of the historic church is being prepared for occupancy by March 17.
Meanwhile, the Action office staff of seven people is preparing to move from its present location in the Klitsch building on Broadway to the Presbyterian Church building.
