Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St. Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. At 8:30 a.m. is the contemporary service followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. and then traditional service at 11 a.m. You can worship in person in the sanctuary or Leah’s Room or in the parking lot by turning radio station to 104.3 FM or Facebook Live.

Six-week Bible study called “Torn”:

March 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5 at 6:30 p.m. for both men and women.

March 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6 at 11:30 a.m. is lunch group Bible study.

Community Lent Service is a 7 p.m. each Wednesday. March 9 is at Faith Alive, March 16 at Zions UCC in Lehighton, March 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bowmanstown, March 30 at Faith Alive, April 6 at Dinkey Memorial in Ashfield, and April 13 at Emmanuel UCC in Bowmanstown.

Other Events: March 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 10 a.m. is Silver Sisters Exercise Class

March 8 at 2 p.m., Prayer Shawl Ministry

March 6, 13, 20, and 27, Youth Group Meeting

March 10, 24 at 2 p.m., Adult Bible Study

JUCC

Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville, will hold Sunday service at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. You can also remain in your vehicle and listen to the service on radio station 95.5 FM or watch live on Facebook. The service is also posted on the website after it has concluded. Supply Pastor Don Quayle will lead the worship service.

Sunday school is in-person each week during the 10 a.m. service. Nursery is in-person.

Quilt Guild

The Sew What Quilt Guild will meet at the Palmerton Area Library on Friday at 10:30 a.m. New members and visitors are always welcome.
