Faith Alive Church
Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. At 8:30 a.m. is the contemporary service followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. and then traditional service at 11 a.m. You can worship in person in the sanctuary or Leah’s Room or in the parking lot by turning radio station to 104.3 FM or Facebook Live.
Feb. 27 at 6 p.m., Youth Group “Impact” will meet.
Mission of the Month is CareNet. Pick up a baby bottle in the church lobby and collect loose change during this month. Return the baby bottle by Feb. 27. All proceeds go to this worthwhile organization who helps to educate pregnant women, assist them with baby clothing, baby furniture, diapers and formula.

JUCC
Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville, will hold Sunday service at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. You can also remain in your vehicle and listen to the service on radio station 95.5 FM or watch live on Facebook. The service is also posted on the website after it has concluded. Supply Pastor Don Quayle will lead the worship service.
The weekly Bible verse for Feb. 27 is 1 Peter 4:8: And above all things have fervent love for one another for love will cover a multitude of sins.
Sunday school is in-person each week during the 10 a.m. service. Nursery is in-person. March 2, Ash Wednesday service will be at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Easter Filling Sale
Jerusalem UCC, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville, will be holding an Easter filling sale. Must order by March 26. Call the church office at 610-681-4412 or Beverly at 610-377-5811 for cost and to order. Pickup will be April 9 from noon to 4 p.m. or April 10 following worship from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
Basket social
A basket social will be held in the St. John Neumann Regional School gymnasium, 259 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, on Feb. 26 from noon to 5 p.m. and Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The kitchen will be open.
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will hold worship on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. If you plan to attend, please call the church office at 610-826-2525. If you are unable to attend in person, you may join on Zoom. Communion will be held. Please remember to bring food items for the CACPAC food pantry.
Bible study is held on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall.
Channel 13, Blue Ridge Cable, is Holy Trinity’s place to look for weather related announcements. A message will also be left on the phone system, so if you call the office, you will know if there is church.
Fighting hunger
A complimentary luncheon is being offered to those in need. The luncheon will be held at Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 Third St., Palmerton, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday for members of our community who could use a little help. If you know of anyone who would benefit, please share.
Train meet
The Carbon Model Railroad Society is sponsoring its Spring Train Meet on March 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Diamond Fire Co. Bingo Hall, 120 Main St., Walnutport. This is a model railroad, toy train, and railroadiania sale for the serious and amateur railroad and model train collector. Food will be available for purchase from the Bingo Hall kitchen. Plenty of free parking. There is an admission fee. Bring your entire family and tell your friends.
Library
April Lottery Calendar tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the library. Proceeds benefit the library.
Story Time in person will be every Friday at 10:30 a.m. starting in March. Masks are optional but strongly recommended.

Read Across America Day is March 2. Join the celebration of diverse readers and books for children. Stop in the library any time this month to pick up a book list and activity page. Stop in the library and check out the Bunny Basket Raffle starting March 14.
Blue Mountain Fiber Guild
The Blue Mountain Fiber Guild will meet at the Palmerton Area Library on March 1 at 6 p.m. The group explores all things related to fiber arts such as spinning, weaving, etc. Come check it out. The group meets the first Tuesday of each month.
Saturday Morning Yoga
Saturday Morning Yoga with Melissa Zegley is held at the Palmerton Area Library every week from 9 to 10 a.m. in the upstairs Gallery. Please use the side entrance of the library when coming to class. Call the library at 610-826-3424 to reserve a spot. There is a cost paid to the instructor.
BWC
Bethany Wesleyan Church, 457 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, holds Sunday worship services at 9 and 10:30 a.m.
Family Movie Night will be held March 2 from 6-8 p.m. This is a family event for all ages. There will be hot dogs, popcorn, drinks and of course a movie. All are invited.
