A 16-year-old Palmerton boy escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 7:28 a.m. Feb. 10 on the Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was driving a 2002 Acura RSX when he lost control of the vehicle. After applying the brakes, the operator maneuvered the vehicle to the left, crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck a tree.
