– Brenda Morgans and Mary Bonner combined for 64 points as the Panther Valley girls defeated Shenandoah Valle, 96-44, on the losers’ court.

The Panthers took an 18-8 lead in the opening stanza and never looked back, scoring more than 20 points in each of the final three quarters.

Morgans and Bonner both sank 12 field goals, with Morgans going 10 -for-12 from the charity stripe to take scoring honors with 34 points, while Bonner was 6-for-7 from the line, finishing with 30 points. Teammate Maria Zuber contributed 11 points in the victory.

Bert Spezialetti came off the bench in the fourth period, and quickly added eight points on four field goals.
