State police at the Frackville barracks were summoned to an incident at 12:32 p.m. Jan. 12 involving weapons in a school.

Police said they were dispatched to the Schuylkill Technology Center, New Castle Township, and conducted interviews with a 17-year-old boy from New Philadelphia and two witnesses.

Police said the weapons were seized and entered into evidence and appropriate charges will be filed against the boy with the Schuylkill County Juvenile Probation office.
