State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 8:14 p.m. on Sunday along Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Charles A. Baran, 29, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2014 Toyota Corolla eastbound when he said a vehicle swerved into his lane of travel. He took evasive action to avoid a collision. As he swerved his vehicle, he lost control. The Corolla entered the westbound lane and onto the berm where it struck an embankment, then came to rest in the westbound lane.

Baran sustained minor facial injuries, but refused EMS transport. The vehicle had to be towed.
