Two young women escaped injury Saturday afternoon in a crash in Coaldale.

The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. along Route 209 near the intersection with Greenwood street. Initial dispatch and reports were of a rollover with injuries.

When emergency personnel arrived on scene they did not find a vehicle or any victims. A short time later the car was located about a mile east of the scene disabled. The driver apparently drove the car after the initial crash. Coaldale police are investigating the incident.
