Tamaqua’s Meals on Wheels board members installed officers during a recent meeting held in St. John’s United Church of Christ on Pine Street in that community.

Installed as president was Elizabeth Purnell, who will be assisted by vice president Esther Hoffman.

Other officers are Mark Christ, secretary; Gloria Zimmerman, assistant secretary; Ron Yurchak, treasurer; George Tomchick, assistant treasurer; and Elva Seip, memorials secretary.

Newly elected directors include Dorothy DeWire, Eli Cresino and Earl Boettger.
