State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the following cases:
• Troopers said an ATM was stolen from Josie’s Restaurant, located at 6 Renningers Market, in North Manheim Township, at 2:02 a.m. Tuesday.
Someone forced entry through the front doors of the restaurant and removed the ATM, which was bolted to the ground, and then fled through the back door.
Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-593-2000.
• On Jan. 31 at 4:19 p.m. troopers investigated a criminal mischief incident at 7211 Fairlane Village Mall, in Norwegian Township. Troopers said Adam Purcell, 32, of Pottsville, threw a crowbar at the 2004 Subaru of a 26-year-old woman from Minersville. Charges were filed.
Jodi Scheib, 52, of Valley View, was charged with bad check. She issued a bad check to JR’s Towing, W. Main St., Hubley Township, on Oct. 17, 2021, for towing service and failed to make good on it.
• State police at Schuylkill Haven said at 1:11 a.m. on Jan. 23 troopers stopped a 2016 Dodge Ram truck in the 1300 block of Long Run Road in Wayne Township for a vehicle code violation. The driver, William Shugars, 62, of Pine Grove, was taken into custody for DUI, troopers said.
