Emergency personnel were dispatched to this crash iust after 1:30 p.m. on Mahoning Mountain Road, below the intersection with Upper Nis Hollow Road. The driver lost control on a curve, went off the road and snapped off a utility pole. Mahoning Township police are investigating.
RIGHT: Several people were injured in a crash in West Penn Township around 1 p.m. along Route 309 about a mile north of South Tamaqua. The victims were treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance and Lehighton paramedics. West Penn Township police are investigating the incident.
