A Carbon County business and three in Schuylkill County have been cited by the state police enforcement offices in Wilkes-Barre and Allentown, respectively.
Carbon County
Notch Eight Craft House LLC of Jim Thorpe, was cited on Nov. 7, 2021, for failure to return records to the licensed premises within 24 hours of a request by the enforcement bureau.
Schuylkill County
• Wing Eaters LLC, trading as The Wooden Keg Tavern, 404 Thwing St., Saint Clair, cited for failure to have board-approved manager complete RAMP owner/management training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment during the period Nov. 2, 2021, and Jan. 11.
• M&M Redzone LLC, trading as M&M Redzone, 312-314 W. Center St., Mahanoy City, cited for selling alcohol beverages after their restaurant liquor license expired on March 31, 2021, and had not renewed and/or validated on April 1 through Nov. 29, 2021, excluding Tuesdays; and April 4, 5 and 19; Aug. 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15; Oct. 13; and Nov. 25, 2021.
• Hot Rod Bar & Grill LLC, trading as Hot Rod Bar & Grill, 15, 17, 19 Front St., Cressona, cited for selling alcoholic beverages after their health permit or license expired on Dec. 13, 2021, and had not been renewed and/or validated on Dec. 14 through 20, 22, 23, 25 and 29, 2021.
Also cited for failure to notify the board within 15 days of a change of manager during the period of May 15, 2021, through Jan. 4.
These charged will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
