Nesquehoning has chosen three engineering companies to serve as borough engineers.
Last week, borough council approved Arro Engineering of Orwigsburg for the sewer and streets departments; Keystone Engineering for planning and zoning offices; and Barry Isett and Associates for recreation and code projects.
Council also approved a motion to retain Carbon Engineers of Summit Hill, which had served as a borough engineer, until all projects that the company is working on for the borough have been completed.
Those include a sewer project in Hauto, the fire company project, an overlay project on East Diaz Avenue and two required reports.
