Slatington Borough announces a water line break occurred Tuesday on Welshtown Road.

The line is repaired, a boil water advisory is in effect throughout the town because of pressure lost in the system.

The boil water advisory is in effect until there are two clean tests for the lab.

The schools and residents north of the school complex are not affected.
