Learn the fundamentals of embroidery on a 10-needle Brother embroidery machine on Jan. 26, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at Northampton Community College’s Fab Lab in the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem.

In this introductory class, 3 Hour Embroidery (FABSW201), participants will learn the fundamentals of embroidery, such as hooping, stitch patterns and the type of acceptable materials.

In the Advanced Embroidery class (FABSW202) on Feb. 23, learn more complex digitizing techniques and how to operate the embroidery machine on your own.

After class, schedule time to use the lab for your personal embroidery needs.
