Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania officially kicked off the 2022 Girl Scout Cookie Season where consumers can support local Girl Scout entrepreneurs by purchasing their favorite cookies.
Girl Scouts are again selling cookies in creative, socially distant, and contact-free ways to keep themselves and their customers safe during the ongoing pandemic.
In addition to your favorites, Girl Scouts are selling the new Adventurefuls, a brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt.
“The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world. Our Girl Scouts in Central and Northeast Pennsylvania are savvy marketers and leaders who use the skills they learn in this incredible program to reach big goals,” said Jess Delp, Director of Product Program and Retail at GSHPA.
Every Girl Scout Cookie purchase helps local Girl Scouts explore their interests, discover their passions, and take action on issues they care about. Whether they are using STEM skills to problem solve, changing a law to help their community, having a courageous outdoor experience, or establishing an innovative nonprofit, Girl Scouts build a better future for themselves and the world.
Girl Scout Cookie season is recognized through April 10. To purchase cookies, you can do it in multiple ways:
• Contact a registered Girl Scout
• Order online from a local Girl Scout troop by entering your Zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder.
• Visit your favorite Girl Scouts at an in-person booth beginning March 4.
• Contact GSHPA Member Services to be connected with a Girl Scout near you. 1-800-692-7816.
