Two Schuylkill County businesses have been cited by the state police liquor control board enforcement office in Allentown:

• Blue Mountain Beer Depot LLC, 501 Route 61 South, Schuylkill Haven, was cited for failure to return its distributor license to the board after their licensed establishment had not been in operation for a period of 15 consecutive days during the period of Jan. 21 to Sept. 14, 2021. Also, failed to have their board-approved manager complete RAMP owner/manager training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment during the period of July 4 through Sept. 14, 2021.

• Sheetz Inc., trading as Sheetz No. 258, 900 Gordon Nagle Trail, Pottsville, cited for failure to notify the board within 15 days of a change in manager during the period July 17 through Oct. 24, 2021. Also, failed to comply with the requirements regarding responsible alcohol management during the period of March 28, 2019, through Oct. 28, 2021.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
