Shoppers who visit businesses in downtown Lehighton this Saturday have a chance to enter into a contest.

To have a shot, all they have to do is stop into any downtown business in Lehighton and snap a selfie.

The Lehighton Downtown Partnership presents Selfie Second Saturday in Downtown Lehighton, and businesses will be open until 8 p.m.

This month’s theme is “Selfie Saturday,” according to Bambi Elsasser, Lehighton Main Street Manager.

The Lehighton Downtown Partnership is affiliated with the Carbon County Chamber & Economic Development Corp.

Elsasser said shoppers need only stop into any downtown business, snap a selfie and email them to her at BambiE@carboncountychamber.org.

Those who do should include their name and phone number in the email.

The more businesses they visit, the more entries they can make to win a “Wine on the River” VIP Gift Basket.

“Keep watching for our Second Saturday,” Elsasser said.

“Support our local businesses.”
