Judge John P. Lavelle presided over an impressive session of Carbon County Court on Monday morning when two new members of the county’s Bar Association were formally inducted.

They are David W. Addy of 22 Dallas Road, Willow Grove, and Christie E. Schaffer, 403 Third St., Lehighton, formerly of Hazleton.

Addy, son of William D. and Helen Addy of Fort Washington, is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law and currently serves as law clerk under Judge Lavelle.

Schaffer, daughter of Carl H. Schaffer of Hazleton, and the late Velma L. (Miller) Schaffer, is a graduate of the Rutgers University School of Law.
