Snow tubing season at Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton opens Sunday for snow tubing, and Monday for ski and snowboard instruction for the 2021/2022 winter season.

Blue Mountain Snow Tubing Park will initially open with 12 lanes and will expand to 46 lanes as snow-making continues, making it the largest snow tubing park in the country. Each lane is over 1,000 feet long, and a third carpet lift for tubing fun is being added. The park is serviced by three lifts, and tubers can choose between a single or double tube to enjoy the sport with a friend or for some friendly competition. Snow tubing hours are Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Snow tubing sessions are three hours long, and tickets are required to reserve each session.

Session pricing starts at $20 per session.
