Mr. and Mrs. John Suzadail, Tamaqua, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 16.

They were married in Friedens Church, New Ringgold, by the Rev. Frederick W. Myers, uncle of the bride, and the Rev. Fr. Thomas Kerestus.

Mrs. Suzadail is the former Carolyn Betz, daughter of the late Ellsworth and Bertha Betz of Tamaqua.

Her husband is a son of the late Vincent and Mabel Suzadail of Tamaqua.

The couple have three children: Shannon, wife of Scott of Hoover, Alabama; John, husband of Karin of Fleetwood; Scott, husband of Andrea of Canby, Oregon. They also have five grandchildren: Vanessa Woodby, Alex Curlings, Kenneth Curlings, Charlotte Curlings, Lozen Suzadail; and great-grandchildren Beatrice Woodby and L. Aaron Woodby Jr.

To celebrate, a golden theme dinner was held at the home of John and Karin Suzadail, Fleetwood. In attendance were John and Carolyn Suzadail, John and Karin Suzadail and Scott, Andrea and Lozen Suzadail/Chavez.
