Local residents completed University of Scranton Small Business Development Center summer 2021 internships.

Alyssa Lamparelli of Palmerton, a student at The University of Scranton, completed a summer 2021 CARES student internship with The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center.

With funding by the CARES Act through the Small Business Administration, the CARES team of student interns worked with the University’s SBDC and completed consulting work with some of the center’s existing clients. These students helped small businesses develop marketing plans and conducted research to help them pivot their businesses during the pandemic.

Lamparelli is a marketing major at Scranton who will graduate in 2022.
