State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers in Schuylkill County.

• Troopers said Christopher Wood, 40, of Port Carbon, has been charged for an incident on Dec. 13 at 3:14 a.m. in the area of Mill Street, in Port Carbon. Troopers said Wood took a small wooden stick and hit the side of a vehicle owned by a 20-year-old St. Clair woman, causing a small scratch.

• On Dec. 11 at 1 a.m. troopers responded to Pinewood Drive in Norwegian Township, for an assault. After an investigation it was determined that a 27-year-old man from Kaska, who troopers declined to identify, assaulted three people, two men, ages 24 and 27, and a woman, 27, all from Pottsville, resulting in injury to the victims. He also is accused of sending threatening messages to one of the victims after the assault.

He was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief.
