A Walnutport driver is facing a driving under the influence charge.

State police at Bethlehem said troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta at 3:01 a.m. on Oct. 2 along Airport Road at Schoenersville Road, in Hanover Township, Northampton County, for motor vehicle code violations.

The driver, identified as Terrell Ford, 28, was found to be impaired and placed under arrest for DUI.

Charges have been filed.
