Two Mahoning Township supervisors and the board’s solicitor were honored for their service during last evening’s meeting in the township building.

Chairwoman Pat Snyder presented a plaque to attorney Steve Serfass, who stepped down because of being elected to the Carbon County Court of Common Pleas, and a plaque to board Bruce Steigerwalt for having stepped in to fill the unexpired term of Dawn L. Blocker, who resigned.

Supervisor John Weiczorek followed by presenting a plaque to Snyder for her years of service to the township, including having served as board chairperson.
