Weatherly Middle School Principal Anthony DeSpirito has announced the students who were selected as Students of the Month for October.

The award is based on academic achievement, attendance, extracurricular involvement, and service to school and community.

Kolton Reiner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Reiner, Weatherly, was chosen as the sixth-grade Student of the Month. Kolton plays basketball for the Weatherly Biddy Basketball program and volunteers at the Beaver Meadows Food Pantry.

Liorah Madden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Madden, Weatherly, was chosen as the seventh-grade Student of the Month. Liorah is a member of the Weatherly Middle School Band as well as the Middle School Chorus. She is a member of Zions Lutheran Church. Liorah helps at her church’s Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and church cleanups.

Kelly Reiner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Reiner, Weatherly, was chosen as the eighth-grade Student of the Month. Kelly is a member of the Weatherly Junior High Girls Basketball Team and a manager for the Weatherly Girls Varsity Basketball Team. Kelly also babysits.
