Shea's Hardware in Palmerton is liquidating its basement, where everything is 70% off. The business will be closing the entire lower level as of Jan. 1, at which time they will no longer be in the shoe business or sneaker business. Instead, they will be focused on the local school demand and the local youth program demands, such as uniforms, basketballs, footballs, baseballs, soccer balls, socks and sliding pants.
