First-rate vehicles at affordable prices.

That’s what car buyers can expect when they deal with Joshsav Motors, located at 4390 Lehigh Drive in Walnutport.

The used car dealership was founded by Jose Rivera and Jorge Fozzatti following a lunch at a neighboring business in November 2020.

“We were going to have lunch at A Ca Mia, and lo and behold there was a sign that the property was up for lease,” Rivera said. “Being that we were having that conversation, and the sign was there, I thought it was a sign from God, so we pulled into the property and we called the number.”

Fozzatti said they signed the lease in February, and opened for business this past August.

He said right now the dealership has between 25-30 cars on the lot, and added their goal is to get it to 50.

“We wanted to do it a little different,” Fozzatti said. “They’re a little higher mileage cars, but that are higher quality.”

Rivera explained the process in which the business obtains its inventory.

“We search through all the major auctions throughout the U.S., find them, then we take a trip, either myself or Jorge, we take a trip,” he said. “We do not buy cars online, we actually physically inspect them.”

Rivera said they carry everything from Toyota, to Chevy, to Fords, to GMCs, to Mitsubishi, to Saturn, along with “whatever we can find that’s quality and road worthy.”

Fozzatti said their customers - the majority of whom are from Lehigh and Northampton counties, along with Palmerton and Lehighton, as well as Harrisburg - have clearly taken notice.

“Our customers tell us there’s holes on the front line, due to the quick rotation,” he said. “We want to make sure our cars are clean and in good condition.”

Rivera has 22 years of experience, while Fozzatti has about 10.

Fozzatti said he and Rivera are a two-man show.

“Everything we did ourselves,” he said. “We do our own work, as much as we can.”

Fozzatti said the business strives to make its customers happy from the time they enter the lot until the time they leave.

“We’re looking to bring the New Jersey mentality to Pennsylvania in terms of pricing,” Fozzatti said. “We’re looking to be a volume store and sell quality vehicles.”

Rivera pinpointed what he believes sets the dealership apart from its contemporaries.

“Our business model is to keep our profit margin as low as possible, and build a foundation in the community,” he said. “We stand behind what we sell.”

Joshsav Motors is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9-5 Saturday. It is closed on Sundays.
