Three Carbon County businesses have been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state police for furnishing alcohol to minors.

Broken Glass Tavern Inc., Junedale, Banks Township, was cited on Aug. 20 and on Sept. 25.

SRI Ambe Beverages LLC, 135 W Patterson St. Lansford, was cited on Sept. 25, as was Miners Beverages LLC, 127 E Amidon St., Summit Hill.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose fines of $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
