Injuries were reported Friday morning in a crash in Mahoning Township. The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. at the intersection of Route 443 and Mall Road.

The crash involved a sport utility vehicle, a pickup and a car. The sport utility vehicle came to rest across the westbound lane, with the pickup traveling east hitting a westbound car head-on.

The injured were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
