State police at the Stroudsburg barracks are investigating a theft by deception/theft incident in which the victim is a 51-year-old woman from Hamilton Township.

Police said they were called to Crest View Drive at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 30 where the victim told them her banking information was fraudulently changed/compromised.
