A variance from Lehighton’s zoning ordinance, granted by unanimous decision of the borough’s zoning hearing board, will allow the construction of a Pizza Hut.
The restaurant will be built along Route 443 between the Mahoning Creek Bridge and the Graverville intersection.
The all-wood single story structure will be built on property leased by Reuben, Ralph and Francis Graver. It will be managed by John Martini of Sheppton.
The work will be done by the Eastern Centennial Construction Company, Elysburg R.1, and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
