Schuylkill man charged with statutory sexual assault

A 52-year-old Frackville man is charged with statutory sexual assault and sending nude photos to a 15-year-old Lancaster County girl.

State police at Frackville filed statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, criminal use of a communications facility and endangering the welfare of children charges against Christopher Schultz on Sept. 5.

Trooper Shawn Tray wrote in the affidavit of probable cause that the mother of the victim came to the Frackville police station Sunday to report the incidents that took place between her boyfriend and daughter starting May 18 “multiple times” at the victim’s residence in Elizabethtown and his in Frackville.

Schultz also sent photos of his genitalia to the victim, police said. The victim sent photos and videos to his cellphone, police said.

A review of messages on the victim’s cellphone included conversations about the relationship.

The victim’s mother spoke to Schultz about the allegations. He said “she seduced me,” she “consented” and “I was teaching her,” charging documents show.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled Sept. 29.
