A Schuylkill County business was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers were dispatched to DB’s Smoke & Vape Shop, located at 27 Tremont Road, in Pine Grove Township, at 12:20 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery.

Troopers learned that a man entered the shop dressed in dark clothing wearing boots, gloves and a mask. He pointed a pistol at an employee and directed the employee toward the cash register. The suspect then fled the shop with about $1,000 in cash. He was last seen leaving on foot in a southerly direction.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
