The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Sept. 20-24 is as follows:

Monday: No meal

Tuesday: Vegetable soup, cheeseburger, potato salad, orange or crispy chicken salad

Wednesday: Breaded haddock, mashed potatoes, spinach, cookie or egg salad sandwich

Thursday: Hawaiian chicken, vegetable blend, brown rice, pineapples or Greek salad

Friday: Barbecue meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, rice pudding or Italian pita

The Panther Valley Senior Center has also announced upcoming events for Sept. 20 through Oct. 1.

Poker-Keeno on Sept. 20 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Sept. 21 at 10:45 a.m.; Chair Exercise on Sept. 22 at 11 a.m.; Horseracing on Sept. 23 at 11 a.m.; Game Day on Sept. 24 at 9:30 a.m.

Wind Creek Casino Bus Trip on Sept. 27 leaving at 10 a.m.; Kitchen Bingo on Sept. 28 at 10:45 a.m.; Link Presentation on Mental Health During COVID on Sept. 29 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Sept. 30 at 10:45 a.m.; Poker-Keeno on Oct. 1 at 11 a.m.

Pool, cards, games and socialization available every day.

Library preschool story hour

The Panther Valley Public Library Preschool story hour for ages 3 to 5 is being held from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesdays.

There will be fun stories, crafts and a light snack for all participants.
