A Summit Hill woman has been named the new executive director of the Carbon County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Charlotte Minnick, a native of Hatfield, succeeds Margaret Traband of Lehighton, who resigned last month.
The new director is a graduate of Olney High School in Philadelphia. Before moving to Summit Hill, she worked in the payroll and accounts receivable department of the Lansdale Water Authority. She recently completed a secretarial course under the Schuylkill-Carbon Agency for Manpower program at the Carbon County Area Vocational-Technical School, Jim Thorpe.
